This contemporary jazz quartet based in Brussels was born out of a single simple desire: to connect through music. Belgian Nathan Surquin (trombone), Tunisian Wajdi Riahi (piano), Italian Federico Stocchi (double bass), and Dutchman Daniel Jonkers (drums) play music that unfolds like a conversation: sometimes tender, sometimes more intense, but always carried by mutual listening. Their brand-new debut album Ambre (2026) revolves around exactly that: the spark that arises when souls recognize one another. Their sound is pure chemistry, a fusion of diverse backgrounds and influences that together produce something fresh and vibrant.
