Manou Gallo is an Ivorian bassist, singer, and orchestra leader known for her bold fusion of Afrobeat, funky groove jazz, and traditional African rhythms. She played with Woya and Zap Mama, built a strong solo career, and shared the stage with artists such as Bootsy Collins, Manu Dibango, and Christian McBride. It’s going to be a busy year for Gallo: she is releasing a song with American guitarist Buckethead and, in addition to her own projects, is going on tour with Dutch drummer Lucas Van Merwijk.

Live, Manou Gallo is accompanied by Matteo De Vito (drums), Joël Rabesolo (guitar), Philippe Ruel (keyboard), Ruben Hernandez (trumpet), Ruben Valle (sax), Andrès Fernandez (trombone), and David Vuylsteke (sound).
