Nacelle performs original music, sprouting from afro-creole rhythms mixed with melodies and meditative grooves calling for trance. The group moves between the spiritual jazz of the 1960s - think Abdullah Ibrahim, Yusef Lateef, Pharoah Sanders or Alice Coltrane - and contemporary spiritual jazz represented by Naïssam Jalal, Matthew Halsall and Shabaka Hutchings among others.
