A phenomenon. That's how you can call the Ambrass band. The band - the Antifascist Militant Brass Band - was founded in 2002 by Gregor Engelen, trumpeter of the late Antifare La Familia, a squatters' wind collective. In the meantime, the Ambrassband has grown into a twelve-member international collective. They bring a mix of Balkan, Klezmer and their own compositions.
The group played in the most diverse places: streets, squares, cafes, parties, funerals, but also at North Sea Jazz, among others. Den Ambrassband is therefore at home in all markets. From acoustic parades to live shows on the big stage: an explosion of brass sounds, gypsy rhythms and exciting melodies. In short, a guarantee for a party!
